Resolution #4

Recognizing the importance of a further reduction of target errors for the XXI Century SLR satellites, the Workshop recommends to ask the Russian Aerospace Agency and the Institute for precision Instrument Engineering (Moscow) to develop and manufacture a satellite based on the Optical Luneberg Lens concept, and to launch the satellite into a circular orbit with a 700…1500 km height.

The Workshop asks the ILRS Governing Board to see for a possible sponsor for this work.
